Is is all right to feel elated when you have finished your fourth novel?

I’ll say it is.

What I feel is a quiet sense of achievement – I have completed what I set out to do – to write another crime novel of approximately 73,000 words.

The Title – POLEAXED by Sarah Wallace (pen-name) was published in Amazon Kindle Store this week.

It is the story of an elderly woman who threatens to go to the newspapers with her complaint against an insurance company. The man she spoke to knows that if she does what she says, he will lose his job as it is not the first time he has botched a deal. He reaches the train before it leaves Glasgow Central Station, approaches and kills her in the coach, without thinking that he has a red beard and will be easily identified.

Detective Inspector Andrew Davis has a cheeky female sergeant and at first she gets on his nerves, but later he finds her to be a comfort.

I hope this one will be a page turner like the rest.
