I’ve just finished my fifth novel and I should know.
When you reach the last 10,000 words, that’s when the panic sets in.
You have to think of all the ends you want tied up and how the bad guy gets his comeuppance.
However, although you have a job in front of you and loads to think about, it’s amazing how your imagination works it all out for you.
It is fantastic when you write the last sentence and you are satisfied with the ending.
My fifth novel is called Bramblejuice. It’s published in the Amazon Kindle Store under the pen-name Sarah Wallace. A farmer’s wife goes out one morning to gather brambles in a lonely spot on a back road where there is very little traffic. She never gets to go back home or to make the bramble jelly. She is murdered.
